1. What is Pâte de Fruit? Is it the same as a gummy?

Pâte de Fruit, translating to “fruit paste” is a French confection of concentrated fruit gummies that use pectin (deriving from plants) as the setting agent. Pectin set “gummies” result in a product that is firm on the outside with a “jammy” center allowing for the flavors to melt on your tongue. Pâte de Fruit gummies are naturally vegan and flavored using fresh fruit purees. 

The difference between our Pâte de Fruit and a traditional gummy is we only use pectin as our setting agent whereas gummies use gelatin (derived from animal bones) as its setting agent.

2. What is a Chocolat Bonbon?

A chocolate bonbon is a thin outer shell of chocolate that can be filled with anything from caramel to ganache. Our chocolate bonbons are made using bean to bar chocolate that is primarily sourced from Ecuador, Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Papua New Guinea. Our fillings currently range from strawberry elderflower ganache, salted caramel, and hazelnut praliné.
